  • Who is this program designed for?
    This program is ideal for educators, community leaders, social workers, youth advocates, and anyone passionate about supporting youth mental health and fostering intergenerational connections.

  • What will I gain from this training?
    Participants will acquire the tools, strategies, and confidence to facilitate Trusted Adult training sessions in their own communities, along with access to comprehensive resources and ongoing support.

  • Is prior experience required to join the program?
    No prior experience is necessary. The program is designed to provide all the foundational knowledge and skills needed to become an effective trainer.

  • What materials are included with the training?
    Participants receive a detailed trainer’s manual, presentation slides, handouts for participants, and additional digital resources to support successful implementation.

  • Is there any post-training support available?
    Yes, participants have access to coaching and a community of practice to ensure successful implementation and ongoing skill-building.

  • Can the training be customized for specific organizations or communities?
    Absolutely. The program can be tailored to meet the unique needs of your organization or community.

  • What is the time commitment outside of the scheduled training sessions?
    Participants should set aside additional time for preparation, practice, and familiarization with the training materials.

  • What are the next steps after completing the program?
    Graduates will be equipped to lead Trusted Adult training sessions and can continue building their skills through optional co-training opportunities and ongoing coaching.

  • Are scholarships or financial aid available?
    Some programs may offer scholarships. Email info@kathleendonaldsonconsulting.com for availability.

  • What happens if I can’t attend a session?
    Recordings or alternative arrangements may be available for missed sessions. However, you may not make up more than 2 sessions.

  • When does the training take place?
    The training is held every Monday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST, starting March 3rd and running through April 28th.

  • What is the cost of the training?
    The program is $1,500 per person. Many participants have their training sponsored by their employers, so be sure to check with your organization to see if they will cover the cost.

  • How long is the certification valid?
    Your certification will remain valid for up to five years.
